I will tell you if you miss your pizza we found one of the best ones around! Boston's restaurant has a gluten free pizza that is amazing! I would venture to stack it up pound for pound against any thin crust around! They will actually sell you the crust so you can make it yourself. My husband also worked at Donato's years ago...and never lost his knack for making an amazing home pizza! You can also order direct from the the site www.frenchmeadow.com. They even have coupons available! It is a 10.5" crust...outstanding! Good luck!

I previously worked at a Donato's pizza in Mooresvlle, NC. the gf pizzas were mad in their own pan which then became the plate for the guest. They are never baked on the same pan as the flour pizza. (the pan/plate is disposable so they are never used for anything other than that individual's gluten free pizz.) I did sell lots of them while working there but did not try them, as I was not diagnosed until after I left that job. I am contemplating tryng one today. I sure miss my pizza!

We hosted a safe event in Donatos in September, 2008, in Clemmons,NC. At this restaurant the gf pizza comes in frozen and is presented on a safe plate after spending the appropriate time in the microwave. Management also has 2 gf beer options very visible at the counter. For folks who have not been inside a pizza parlor since being diagnosed the family friendly, safe atmosphere has become a blessing. The disclaimer from corporate keeps them from being liable. Wish they would go the short mile to make all their restaurants safe for those with celiac disease.
